Mormons: Religious Freedom and Free Agency

The Mormon church is built upon a set of beliefs. One of those beliefs is that everybody has Free Agency.
Question: "What is Free Agency?"
Answer: Free Agency, is the ability to choose whatever you want to do. This applies to Religious Freedom, because you have the ability, and right, to choose whichever religion you'd like to be in. You can use your free agency to choose to be a good person, and live a happy life. You can also use your free agency to choose to be a bad person, and live a miserable life. You can choose your actions, but you can't choose the consequences. Consequences are the effects of a person's actions.
Religious Freedom, as I mentioned earlier, is the freedom to worship God in any way you like.

Pronunciation Guide

Every time I look at the Pronunciation guide, I sometimes forget about how many weird names there are in The Book of Mormon. For example, there's Ripliancum, Kumenonhi, and Gimgimno, to name a few.

Armor of God

"12 For we awrestle not bagainst cflesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the drulers of the edarkness of this world, against spiritual fwickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins agirt about with btruth, and having on the cbreastplate of drighteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of apeace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of afaith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery bdarts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of asalvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 aPraying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all bperseverance and supplication for all saints;"

Commitment

When committing to something, you must put all of your time, effort, and really want to do what it is you've committed to. Because, when you just go through the phases, you're not really committed. You're just there in body, and not in mind. The same thing applies in everyday situations, whether it's your work, or your religion, you've got to stay committed.

Book of Ether

The Book of Ether tells a story about the group of people, called the Jaredites, who came to the Americas before Nephi & his family did. The Jaredites prospered for some time, but then they killed each other in civil war.

Alma 47

I just read a chapter from The Book Of Mormon, about how a man named, Amalickiah uses treachery, murder, and intrigue to become King of the Lamanites.

Title of Liberty

" 10 Yea, we see that Amalickiah, because he was a man of cunning device and a man of many flattering words, that he led away the hearts of many people to do wickedly; yea, and to seek to adestroy the church of God, and to destroy the foundation of bliberty which God had granted unto them, or which blessing God had sent upon the face of the land for the crighteous’ sake.
11 And now it came to pass that when Moroni, who was the achief commander of the armies of the Nephites, had heard of these dissensions, he was angry with Amalickiah.
12 And it came to pass that he rent his coat; and he took a piece thereof, and wrote upon it—aIn memory of our God, our religion, and freedom, and our peace, our wives, and our children—and he fastened it upon the end of a pole.
13 And he fastened on his head-plate, and his abreastplate, and his shields, and girded on his armor about his loins; and he took the pole, which had on the end thereof his rent coat, (and he called it the btitle of liberty) and he cbowed himself to the earth, and he prayed mightily unto his God for the blessings of liberty to rest upon his brethren, so long as there should a band of dChristians remain to possess the land—
14 For thus were all the true believers of Christ, who belonged to the church of God, called by those who did not belong to the church.
15 And those who did belong to the church were afaithful; yea, all those who were true believers in Christ btook upon them, gladly, the name of Christ, or cChristians as they were called, because of their belief in Christ who should come."
Alma 46:10-15

Testimony

I'd like to bear my testimony that I know this church is true. I know that Jesus Christ is our savior. I know that Thomas S. Monson is our Prophet. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Armour of God

" 11 Put on the whole aarmour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we awrestle not bagainst cflesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the drulers of the edarkness of this world, against spiritual fwickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins agirt about with btruth, and having on the cbreastplate of drighteousness;

The Book of Mormon, a brief explaination

The Book of Mormon is a sacred record of the peoples in ancient America, all contained in separate metal plates. But, like other history books, these plates were abridged. the plates were abridged by one of the Prophets who wrote some scriptures of his own. The Book itself is compiled of fifteen books, or divisions, and each of them are so named by their author. The Gold Plates were kept hidden, by Moroni, for 1402 years. From 421a.d., to 1823a.d. And was found by Joseph Smith.
